In July 2020 I made a pledge to donate 10% of my monthly sales to an organization that is working towards helping vulnerable or under represented people; or otherwise trying to change our world for the better of all. It's one small commitment I can make every month.
For June the organization I have chosen to receive 10% of my monthly sales is:
"SAGA is a non profit organization that provides support, education, resources, and advocacy for Southern Arizona’s diverse community of trans and gender nonconforming individuals. We envision a world in which all people who are gender fabulous are guaranteed basic rights and personal liberation; where we can all be open, honest, and safe wherever we go."
For every sale I receive through the month of June I will donate 10% to Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA). Sales are totaled at the end of each month, rounding up to the nearest $5 to make the donation within the first week of the following month.
For the month of May I chose India Covid-19 Relief Fund by Global Giving
Donations raised will go for immediate needs to get the virus under control, like sending more medical front line workers and supplies to hospitals and clinics, accessible and affordable vaccines, and more. Once the immediate need has been met, any remaining funds raised will go to long term efforts in helping the communities in India recover. Thanks to all your purchases throughout the month of May I was able to donate $300 to communities in India still battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
