April Charitable Donation: SACASA

In July I made a pledge to donate 10% of my monthly sales to an organization that is working towards helping vulnerable or under represented people; or otherwise trying to change our world for the better of all. It's one small commitment I can make every month.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and because we still live in a world where sexual assaults continue to happen, I have chosen SACASA as the organization that will receive 10% of this month's sales.
"The Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA) provides crisis services, advocacy, support, therapy and education for individuals and families impacted by sexual trauma. We provide a safe place for survivors to heal, gain strength, learn coping skills, and develop trusting, caring relationships."
Because April is also my birthday month and because I am also a survivor of sexual assault myself, it would mean the world to me to have you shop my designs this month. Or even better- donate directly to SACASA. If you cannot donate, do what you can do to support the survivors in your life and communities by educating yourself on how you can be a better ally and help end the toxic culture that allows sexual assaults to continue.
For every sale I receive through the month of April I will donate 10% to SACASA. Sales are totaled at the end of each month, rounding up to the nearest $5 to make the donation within the first week of the following month.
For the month of March I chose MADRE, who is "...an international women's human rights organization. We partner with community-based women's groups worldwide facing war and disaster. Our mission is to advance women’s human rights by meeting urgent needs in communities and building lasting solutions to the crises women face. Our history is rooted in progressive movements for peace, justice and women’s human rights."
Thanks to all your purchases this month I was able to donate $280 to their organization!
