The Eclipse Sale: August 2026

Welcome to the August 2026 Eclipse Season!

I've been leaning into the ebbs and flows of the universe, and this eclipse asked me some  important questions, both personally and for my business. The answers that have been coming to me bring refreshes and releases, as well as some larger transitions to come. I'm feeling inspired, curious, and excited to see how my life and my jewelry designs will respond to the months/year ahead!

Now, that being said- I'm having a rare sale on my website for the majority of this eclipse season!! You'll find all the details for the sale below, as well as info on some closeouts, and some other fun updates. So keep reading to get all the juicy details!

The Eclipse Sale: 30% off ALL orders now through August 26th

  • This sale applies to ALL jewelry listed on my website, aka- everything! Gift certificates are the only exception and are not on sale.
  • NO CODE is needed, 30% will be taken off each item once it's added to your cart.
  • You can't combine this sale with any other discounts, sorry!

  • The 30% Off Eclipse Sale runs now through Wednesday, August 26th at 4pm MST.

Some of the things that have inspired this sale is to refresh the website and give a last call to a few styles that will be released into the ether after this eclipse season completes it's journey at the end of the month.

Wait- did I just say some styles will be coming to a close?!

Yep, there's a couple things I'm going to be releasing in order to make space for new styles, materials, and techniques to make their way in. I'm always evolving my work, my skills, and me- I'm a New Moon baby, so naturally I love fresh starts and new beginnings.

The main style to go will be my simple Hammered Hoops pendants (example below- Citrine/Gold-fill necklace). We love a simple, classic pendant- it's great to layer or create a demur look. However, we're all aware by now of the rollercoaster the precious metal market has been in the last year or so, which has driven up the cost of my silver and gold-fill supplies- this has made the chain the pendants hang on almost the same cost, sometimes more, than the actual pendant! I've done my best to work through this by offering pendant only sales for folks who have a chain or two to swap pendants, but overall it's doesn't appeal to most people and it's a headache to manage inventory wise. So those styles are by and large going to closeout and be gone as early as Sept 1st as I've already begun pulling those designs from my stockists and personal inventory. This sale is your LAST chance to pick one up.

The image above also shows another material we'll be closing out: 14k Gold-fill!!!!!

It's honestly wild for me to even think about ceasing to work in gold-fill as it's what I've made almost all my personal jewelry in, especially the earrings I wear due to metal sensitivity. But the time has come- I will not be ordering more as I work through the limited stash I have. Between extreme price increases and it's tricky for soldering- I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things... so I'll be easing my way into solid GOLD as my budget allows. In fact, I recently worked with a little 14k Gold before the summer festivals in MN and was reminded how lovely working in solid gold is- my heart literally burst into flames when I soldered some gold pieces back in June/July and I've been fanning the flames ever since!

............................................

Onward and Upward- what does the future hold for Christina Holland Designs?

Sterling Silver will continue to be the main metal focus for my work while I strive to add more solid gold work, and I'm still enjoying working in Copper as well. But just like I did when I closed out working in Brass materials- you'll still see offerings in gold-fill and I still have little bits in brass I'm working with here and there.
*FYI- I closed out brass because I've sadly developed an allergy to it over the years and it's quite nasty (for me) when you're working with the raw materials (ie- sawing, sanding, polishing).

Of course you can ALWAYS contact me for a repair in any metal or for a special request in a specific metal- I'm happy to order in gold-fill, solid gold, or even brass or other metals for you whenever possible.

I'm working through and with many other big changes and transitions in my world, and I foresee more of those changes and announcements to come in the new year- so stay tuned as the wheel of life continues to turn ;)

And lastly, if you've made it this far- with this Eclipse Sale giving a clean slate to my site, I'll be refreshing the web-shop with my new designs from my Summer Collections!
Save the date for August 27th!
