In April of 2017 I was invited to showcase a collection of my designs in a gallery style setting by Lisa Cardenas, the owner of Haunted Hands. April is a special month for me because it's also my birthday month- so this was another reason to celebrate.
I loved this challenge to not only be creative in my jewelry designs, but also in my displays. My goal with Curious Adornments was for it to feel like peering into a curio-cabinet of a jewelry collection that feels traveled and experienced- it might just have a curious story to tell.
I've continued to brainstorm other ideas for a gallery jewelry showing in the future. Tentative plans for a Haunted Hands showcase in April 2019.
