Elemental Essentials March Box: Connections

March brings us one full year of surviving in a pandemic that forced us to reexamine how we connect with one another, our communities, and how we connect with ourselves. I've thought a lot about connections over this last year, it was one of the main things that encouraged me to create the Elemental Essentials Box, which debuted back in July 2020. I missed the connections I shared at the markets and events (local & far), connecting with each visitor to my booth- many times those connections have lead to lifelong friends, collaborations, and a nurturing to the strength and love of community.

The Elemental Essentials Box was a way to connect with other makers, my local community, and the fans and friends of my small jewelry business. Born out of the need for connections in a strange and unprecedented time, every month I load these boxes with loving and positive energies, sending goods across the miles from local Tucson, to my home state of Minnesota, and onward to Colorado, Oregon, and North Carolina- we keep the connections thriving.

Connections have always been at the heart of the Elemental Essentials Box, if feels fitting to turn our attentions towards that theme for this months box.

This month I found I was so enamored with the necklaces from the February collection, I decided to make a connection and created a matching earring for March.

A reminder to find time to recenter your heart and connect with yourself and/or others in your life. If you received both Feb and March boxes perhaps you find you want to share one piece or the other with someone you're deeply connected to or wish to strengthen your connection with them.

If you visited my home you'd find many pieces of pottery from our friends at Tu Kaets Studio in Tucson. From planters to beautiful serving bowls- we just can't get enough. I was beyond thrilled to have these triangle dishes made for the Connections box.

Small unique dishes are one of my favorite to organize jewelry or hold dry herb offerings during meditation or ritual. Three points connecting together to create the triangle in these handcrafted dishes was the spark needed to inspire the Connections theme and the intention ritual this month, showing us again how connected we really are.

The Connections Ritual is one of my favorite rituals we've experienced so far in the Elemental Essentials Boxes. Crafted by The Ninth House Shop, you'll connect with the triangle shape again as you make space to nurture the connections within your life.

Inside the Connections Ritual you'll find:

  • 1x Rose Quartz stone

  • 1x Selenite cube stone

  • 1x White candle

  • 1x Connections Ritual scroll.

To compliment the Connections theme and ritual I created a new herbal blend, Spring Connections Blend. All herbs were collected and dried from my private gardens or sourced from the new and improved herbal selection at The Ninth House Shop.

My herbal blends are such a sweet and personal creation for me and another way I look to connect with those that receive the Elemental Essentials Box.

I love to burn my blends (I'm a Fire sign after all), so if you do too please make sure you use a fire safe vessel, and burn either outside or with ventilation.

  • Please do not ingest, not for consumption or internal use.

I'll have just TWO Bonus Boxes for the Connections Collection, available as a one-time purchase (not a subscription) on Wednesday, March 24th at 10am PDT/MST Tucson.

Each month I select a different organization to donate 10% of my monthly profits.

For March I chose the international women's human rights organization: MADRE

Profits from the Elemental Essentials Box are included in that donation.
